The Sunken Gardens, which sit at the edge of Historic City Hall, are an Atascadero gem. This beautifully restored, historic green space has a central fountain and curved paths throughout the park. 
Atascadero Lake Park is a local favorite, known for its scenic lake and winding walking paths. The park has a large children’s play area, paddleboats, and bike rentals for plenty of outdoor fun.
